Senior Webdesigner (40%-60%) (Zürich / Hybrid)

Bloq Labs is a web agency operating throughout Switzerland with a focus on the tailor-made conception, design and implementation of websites for organizations of all sizes.

We rely on handmade design combined with efficient processes and modern technology such as Webflow, Shopify or Vue.js.

Our small, international team works in a highly structured, efficient and targeted use of AI to optimize design, development and project processes.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced person who will take on the design responsibility of our web projects and professionally lead our design team.

Your role

As a senior web designer, you are responsible for the design quality of our customer projects. You translate strategy and brands into strong web concepts, accompany the design process and ensure that all designs meet the quality and functional requirements.

Your tasks

• Designing user experiences and interfaces for high-quality websites
• Conception, preparation and implementation of web designs in Figma, pixel-perfect and responsive
• Development of clear design concepts, page structures and user flows
• Direct collaboration with customers from kickoff to launch
• Close collaboration with our Webflow and development team
• Strategic decisions on page architecture, conversion logic and user guidance
• Presenting and defending design decisions to customers
• Iteration and optimization based on feedback, conversion goals and real project results
• Collaboration on scalable design systems and component libraries

Your profile

• Passion for user-centered web design and conversion optimization
• Very safe handling of Figma, especially car layout and components
• Strong understanding of web technologies, CMS logics and design systems
• Experience using AI tools to create visual content and concepts
• Clear and structured communication of your ideas to customers and within the team
• Proactive, self-organized way of working with direct customer contact
• At least 5 years of professional experience in web design or UI design (not with templates)
• Very good English language skills

Employment and workload

• Permanent employment with a workload of 40% - 60%
• Flexible working hours and remote participation possible
• Pensum increase to 80% or 100% is possible with good cooperation and increasing project load
